We spent a decade building a register for others. Now we’re building our own

ared is built by a Lithuanian team behind an established iOS point of sale that runs in thirteen countries across Europe, the UK and the US. Now we’re putting that experience to work for Lithuanian businesses.

The team

For a decade we built and ran one of Europe’s established iOS point-of-sale systems. It runs in thirteen countries: Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, France, Malta, the United Kingdom and the United States.

We know a register from every side, including the problems that only show up when you run one at scale.

Why ared

We left behind the bureaucracy and the long chain between the customer and the people who build the system. We wanted to build something better and more modern, and keep every customer happy.

So in Vilnius we’re building ared: a fast register for iPad, iPhone and Mac on a modern architecture, free of legacy constraints, made in Lithuania for Lithuanian businesses, with i.EKA virtual fiscalization.

How we work

We ship fast, take feature requests all the time and fix bugs right away. We update the roadmap every month, and a new terminal or printer integration usually takes about two weeks.

We only describe what works from the day we set you up. Anything that comes later carries a month or a quarter.

Where we are

We’re in Vilnius. i.EKA certification is underway (September 2026) in the retail and hospitality categories, and we’re onboarding our first customers from November 2026.

Let’s get started

Tell us about your business. We answer ourselves, with no middlemen, and we’ll agree on when to set up your register.
